Library Pet Show Success Despite Rain

People in Plain City simply love their pets! So much so, that not even a rainy Saturday morning could prevent these proud pet owners from showing off their critters at PCPL's first ever Pet Show! That's right, for a few hours the library literally went to the dogs . . . and cats . . . and hamsters . . . and yes, even a horse! Fun was had by humans and animals alike, as each contestant had an opportunity to show off their pet's talents. For some, their talent was doing a really cool trick. For others, talent came in the way of simply being cute and cuddly! By the end of the program it was clear that the animals and their humans all shared a very special bond.

The Pet Show kicked off the library's annual Summer Reading Program, Paws, Claws, Scales, & Tales. The program runs from June 10 to August 12 and is open to everyone age 3 and older! Contact the library at 614-873-4912 for more information.
