The
Plain City Public Library had some interesting "Friends" visit on Thursday,
July 6. As part of the library's Summer Performance Series 2006,
P.T. Reptiles presented a program that was simply "Wild!" Over eighty
area kids had a chance to have a hands-on experience with various exotic
critters like alligators, spiders, turtles, and snakes!
Even
adults got to touch these unique creatures, as Children's Services librarian
Amanda Broschart found out. Asked to close her eyes and hold out her hands,
P.T. Reptiles owner Peter Rushton placed a large tarantula in the
unsuspecting librarian's hands! WOW, what an experience!
