Ohio Wildlife Center Visited PCPL

Ohio Wildlife Center Visited PCPL on Wednesday, July 12Kids received a lesson on the diverse wildlife that lives around them when the Ohio Wildlife Center (OWC) visited the library on Wednesday, July 12. OWC is a premier non-profit wildlife rehabilitation organization and is nationally recognized as an authority on native Ohio wildlife issues. Program participants discovered easy ways to coexist with our animal friends and what they can do to help Ohio's wildlife live happy and healthy lives.

But don't think that it was just a boring lecture, far from it! This hands-on experience allowed kids to get close and personal with various critters including an opossum, snake, groundhog, and even a baby skunk! If you find wildlife in need of help, contact OWC at 614-793-WILD
