Office of the Spokesdog

Welcome to my little corner of the website! My name is Smarty Pants and I'm the newest member of the library team. I have come onboard to be the official SpokesDog for the library, a job I really love! My job gives me the opportunity to represent the library to the community and share all the great resources folks can find at PCPL.

When I'm not at work I like to do normal doggie things like chase squirrels (the bane of my existence) and play with my toys. Life has not always been this exciting though, as I was once a shelter dog. The good folks at the Union County Humane Society took care of me when I needed help. They even found a great home that needed a doggie just like me! 

Be looking for me around town as I try to meet as many area residents as possible!
