Teen Game Day - Wednesdays, March 3 & 17 until 4:00 PM

  

Alternating Wednesdays, teens ages 12 and up are invited to visit the library after school to play interactive games on our PS2 and Wii game systems. The games will be projected onto our large screen. Come to watch, compete, or just to hang out. No registration is required.

Swing Dance Lessons - April 13 & 27, May 4 at 6:30 PM

  

To prepare for the upcoming Plain City Big Band Dance, the Friends of the Plain City Public Library will be sponsoring a series of free swing dance lessons at the library. As space is limited, registration is required for each of the three dance lessons. Both couples and singles may register. Registration is required.

Plain City Big Band Dance - May 7 from 6:30 to 9:30 PM
at the St. Joseph Event Facility

  

Take a step back in time at the Plain City Big Band Dance. The live dance band Classic Swing will be playing vintage dance favorites from 6:30 PM until 9:30 PM. Admission to the Plain City Big Band Dance is free thanks to our generous sponsors. Dancers of all expertise and spectators are welcome and encouraged to dress in 1940s style attire. During the dance enjoy light refreshments while watching a pictorial slide show display featuring historic Plain City in the 1940s and 50s. There will also be a picture honor roll of local veterans. No registration is required.
