Drop in and create, invent, and explore with a different hands-on project every Thursday from 3:00pm-4:30pm.
Projects are designed for ages 8 and up. No registration is required.
February 5 – Squishies
Learn the science behind making your very own squishy. Mix two safe chemicals to form a bond with a color pigment. Add heat to quicken the process and take home your very own squishy.
February 12 – Möbius Strip Hearts
Create a Valentine’s Day themed decoration using geometry.
February 19 – Makey Makey Piano
An invention kit for the 21st century! Turn everyday objects into controllers, it’s a simple invention kit for beginners and experts doing art, engineering, and everything in between. This week we’ll create our own piano.
February 26 – Shrinky Dinks
Create charms, keychains, or other trinkets by decorating think, flexible sheets of plastic then shrinking them to about one-third their original size by applying heat.
