Projects are designed for ages 8 and up. No registration is required.

Use yarn and a balloon to create a unique pumpkin.

November 6 – Suminagashi Paper Marbling
Suminagashi, which literally means “floating ink,” is a paper marbling process in which you create intricate designs using ink and soap floating on water.
November 13 – Leaf Tessellations
Create a seamless pattern of leaves using a combination of math and art.
November 20 – Robotic Hand
Learn about the bone structure of your hand as we build a robotic hand out of paper, straws, string and tape.

December 4 – Zoetropes
Learn about the science of animation and optical illusions by creating your own zoetrope! This vintage toy features the still frames of an animation on the inside of a cylinder with vertical slits on the outside that allow you to see the animation move as the toy spins.
December 11 – Salt Dough Ornaments
Measure, form, and roll out your salt dough. Use cookie cutter to create the shapes to turn into ornaments.
December 18 – Snowflakes 3 Ways
Make snowflakes with paper, pipe cleaners, or yarn.
