Projects are designed for ages 8 and up. No registration is required.
February 12 – Möbius Strip Hearts
Create a Valentine’s Day themed decoration using geometry.
February 19 – Makey Makey Piano
An invention kit for the 21st century! Turn everyday objects into controllers, it’s a simple invention kit for beginners and experts doing art, engineering, and everything in between. This week we’ll create our own piano.
February 26 – Shrinky Dinks
Create charms, keychains, or other trinkets by decorating think, flexible sheets of plastic then shrinking them to about one-third their original size by applying heat.
March 5 – 3D Pens
Combine art & design with technology to bring your ideas to life in 3D! We’ll use 3Doodler 3D Printing Pens and eco-plastic filament strands to start creating fun designs instantly.
March 12 – Origami DNA
Make an origami model of DNA.
March 19 – Perler Bead Fidget Spinner
Make a bearing-less fidget spinner using Perler beads.
March 26 – DIY Spirograph
Learn about Spirographs and create your own drawing tool.
